2020 started off great for the CR Spirits! The Spirit Show in February 2020 was such a hit, you could say it shut down the world. Literally 16 days after the Spirit Show life began to change here in Iowa. Tiffany had celebrated her 50th Birthday which was the idea of the last Spirit Show, the Spirit Fans and “New” Spirit Fans were starting the year off right by dancing the night away at the Show, everything seemed to be looking up until Covid-19 hit. The pandemic set fear, a worry and scare through all of us, even with the hope that everything was going to be okay, you would find yourself so thankful that the Spirit Show was able to go on and yet worried that nothing would ever be the same.

During this period it was also time for our fighter, our hero, our dancer Crystals next Cancer appointment. And as she prepared for that trip to Rochester, the news good or bad she would received, Tiffany & Crystal sat down and had a discussion. Tiffany started off with, “The one thing I have learned through your journey Crystal is that Life goes on, no matter what you are dealing with, Life keeps moving. As sad as everything can be, Life continues. And as I think of 2020 being the last Show, I think to myself but wait…Life continues. Inspiring others needs to continue as well. Our last show did exactly that and in return we found positivity in our own lives by doing what we love. We need to show people more now than ever in our world that “Stayin Alive”, remembering to Live Life and Not Stopping the Party is what is important”! As Crystal listens to her mothers words, a smile on her face that could light up a room was just what she needed to hear. That was the moment that the next Spirit Show began to take on life again.
